The belkin Bluetooth HD audio receiver has an optical out on the back of it. I've researched a bit but doesn't seem like there is an adapter to work with d2b system. Does anyone else have an idea if this is feasible? I'm not familiar with the typical optical audio out and d2b. They might have completely different signals...??

I like the fact that this could be a high quality audio option hidden in the trunk and controlled via Bluetooth and iPhone.

Working with a 99 e320 with Bose stereo and cd changed in the trunk.
