Last year I got a cd stuck in my cd player MC3010 changer. I removed the changer, found and repaired the fault then on reassembly I damaged the ribbon cable. So I disconnect it and the phone is also not working anymore. 12 months later I buy a cd player from ebay, install it and the comand system dont see it. it does not eject but if I press the eject button I can hear something trying to operate. So have I missed a step in installing it? I have not bolted it back in yet, it is just sitting in the glove box. Could I have been sold a duff unit? Any ideas please
