hello
i just got message and i believe the nav player is gone bad.
no dvd
please insert a NAV-DVD
(car trunk)
btw...i use an original HK 2013 v12 disk and have tried other older version since getting this message and no change
can anyone confirm that the nav player is bad and can this be fix or do i need to replace the unit

Indeed, likely a dirty laser. You might also clean the DVD too.
It is less than likely that the air got rid of dirt; if the laser was dirty, a DVD cleaning disc might be helpful. They're available at big-box and audio stores.
