Connecting MP3 player to Command

I seem to remember some time ago reading about someone installing an MP3 player into their 2002 c-class with command. They also mentioned connecting it via a special connection in the glove compartment.

I have a 2002 C32 with Command and factory CD changer in glove box. I recently looked into the glovebox and could not find any connections (maybe covered by the CD changer?).

Since Command does not have a cassette, I need a more direct method to connect the player. The command menu has an ability to access an Auxiliary Device, so there should be a way to connect to this Auxiliary input.

AUX input

I had the installer add the four AUX wires to the C2 connector to the Comand.

I had the installer add the four AUX wires to the C2 connector to the Comand. I have a Sirius satellite radio hooked up to the AUX.

You mean YOUR COMAND doesn't have cassette. There are COMAND units with cassette.

Anyhow, you need to take a better look in your glovebox. If you have factory COMAND, the connector is on the right side of the glovebox near the door.
