Aux sound settings...

I have a new C240 with the navigation system. I have been using my iPod through the auxiliary input in the glove box, but each time I turn off the car, the aux sound inputs return to flat line and I have to readjust bass and treble each time.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can permanently fix these settings for the aux input...you can for the radio and cd player, seems like you should be able to do it for the aux input as well.

Thanks.

Look on the sides of the glove box.

It is a small headphone socket you are looking for, and not a cable.

In my car -CLK55 - the outlet is on the right side in the glove compartment.

Bought a $2.- 18" cable from Radio Shack and play portable CDs and tapes via the outlet & auxiliary settings on the command.

However, the sound always defaults to flat, as Scot states.

Change to a Euro COMAND. The AUX settings are stored.

I'll have to remember to add that to the Euro COMAND FAQ...
