Media Interface and iPod Connectivity Issues
Hi,
I picked up my new C63 AMG yesterday. I seem to be having an issue with the connectivity of 5th generation iPod (model a1320, emc 2317) to the Media Interface.
The car came with a pack of three cable (the pack part number is A 166 827 01 04). One of the cables is the designated cable for iPod 5th gen: A0028272104.
When i plug in my ipod it all works for about 20 sec and then the ipod appears to disconnect. after about 15 sec it reconnects and so on. The iPod is on the latest version of s/w (1.0.2). Just to make sure i re-installed the s/w and re-synced the tracks to iPod. I have two identical ipods, both behave the same with media interface.
Have any of you come up against similar issue? i don't think it's iPod's issue... likelihood of two being faulty and displaying exactly the same symptoms is pretty low. Maybe a faulty cable? Or a media interface s/w upgrade? Please help.
