W208 Clk audio upgrade, let me know your opinion!
Hello all, please give me input! I just bought a 2001 clk430 with a bad aftermarket system, so it all goes.
I saw a Chinese system on eBay for 599 that does video, etc, and most important it looks really clean. I want a factory type of look to it:

It won't have pandora etc, so maybe better off going with something from a stereo store. I gotta do the speakers etc too...any thoughts? A lot of posts on here about it but most are very very old posts....

Maybe try asking the actual clk forum or use the search button to poke around.
The dynavin is indeed a clean looking system but it pretty much ends there. It's a POS and many members here won't recommend it. They're like a little 2 man Chinese company where once they have your money, you'll never hear from them again (or something along the lines very similar to that).
If you're looking for recommendations, I can't help you there.
Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. Will try the clk forum, thought since it was audio this might be a better place to ask. And thanks for the dynavin opinion. I have found little else on the web about that head unit. I do like its looks, at this point it was between that and buying up an old Bose and cobbling together a Bluetooth system for it. Maybe will keep researching options.
Ah yeah and I searched a ton...didn't just log on and start asking for help...lots of latest info from 2004. So many guys ripped open their year old clks! I can't imagine havin the cajones to do that

One of my friends has that brand unit, it may look nice but it never seems to work correctly.
I couldn't recommend Pioneer enough! I have a double din in my car that has bluetooth and everything, even works with the Steering wheel controls though an adaptor.
