1999 ML 320 Stereo Installation woes
Ok, I have a 1999 ML 320, I pulled the bose cassette player and installed a sony receiver. When I pulled the deck out there were (2) seperate wiring harnesses. I bought the wiring harness adapter and the new deck powers on, works fine, however no sound is coming out of the speakers at all......
The factory harness adapter only fit the larger harness. Is there an amp on wire or something that I am missing here? I bypassed the harness to one of the door speakers and it works fine. HELP ME!

My guess is there is an amp in the car that's not turning on with the Sony radio. Is there an unused red wire?

What did you connect the Blue/White wire from your Sony head unit to? Did you use a Metra 70-1786 wiring harness? If so, connect the Blue/White wire from your Sony headunit to the Blue wire on the Metra 70-1786.
