CLK SRS Light on after seatbelt repair
I was told that if you replace the seat belt unit the same part the SRS fault should clear itself. It has not.
I tried to clear the fault with a Snap-On diagnostic system but keep getting faults, SRS light, message.
My question is: Do I need to use the M-B Star system to clear the fault codes, because the Snap-On system can't, or is there an issue with the part I replaced, the wiring or the restraint system control unit?
Thank you in advance.
Thank you. I will have the shop use the Star Diag system to reset the SRS while they are repairing the A/C flapper door control arm that recently broke.
