C180 Kompressor (W203)
Question which radio comand in w203?

Hey there Mercedes Lovers,

I recently purchased a c180 Kompressor (w203) and it as an "Audio 20", or better saying an old radio with no functions, and I was thinking to make an Upgrade for the "Comand" radio so that I can use gps, bluethoot interface with my cellphone, etc..., but I'm very confuse with all that I read. Is there anyone who as done this?
Which steps should I do?
Which kind of "comand" fits in my w203 from 2007? ntg2 or 2.5?
Can I put the round one or it needs to be the square one?
Do I need just the radio, or do I need to install a GPS antenna or something else?
It's better to consider another kind of radio like this here?

I'm sorry for so many questions but I'm really confused.
Hope someone can help me

even the new comand is dated, just spend the money with your local professional shop and have them do an aftermarket unit. Alpine has the new 8 and 9" touchscreens shipping the end of the month of mid next month.

Oh. And what about the dynavin and those kind of radios, It costs me a little to loose the original looking but if it's the only way to get something good...

the dynavin is still a second rate deck, it is no where near an alpine, kenwood, pioneer,... just looks pretty

there is a mounting kit from metra for normal sized radios that look good.
