command unit
Hi I m new to forum, I have a 2006 cls 320 sport. When I first got it the command unit worked but now it switches on and the Mercedes sign comes on the screen but after about 30 seconds the unit shuts down. I have noticed there is no illumination on the control butons of the unit when the lights are on. Edd

Usually a MOST fibre ring issue. Could be the fibre itself or another control unit within the ring. Could try reset MOST devices from their fuse or bypass devices to test for a difference.

Hi I have a Bluetooth phone but its not that. The unit only shows the Mercedes badge and name then shuts down, no radio, nav connects. I have checked all fuses and even dis-connected the battery but no good.

see if the dealership will do a free update to the comand, if not, same as an e class... upgrade the comand to new technology. check to see if your amp has power its the audio gateway in the trunk.

Hi I have looked in the boot on the left hand side beside the fuses and there is a dvd unit and two silver amp looking units, but taped with black electrical tape on the side of them is another two amp looking units!!!! all have some plugs going to them and some empty connectors, Help

C 300 Mercedes
I have a 08 c300 with the flip up screen, no picture, no data , radio plays , voice command pre stored mp3 songs play, will not accept DVD or cd into player unit, steering controls still change station and functions, will not connect to Bluetooth or phone, could someone give me an idea on what is wrong with it. Dealer says he couldn't connect software. Thanks
