Hello all! First time post with audio install questions
Hello! I want to install my amp and subwoofers into my new Mercedes but am wondering on power and other things. You all seem pretty knowledgable from previous posts I've read. The install I am fairly confident with because I installed these in my old truck with no problems. What I'm concerned about is will the battery have enough juice to power a 1000w amp and 2 750w rms subs without headlight dimming or other side effects? I have a 2010 c300 w204 by the way and loving it.
I was also wondering about amp placement since I believe mine to be much bigger than ones I've seen in DIY posted on here previously. Can't check since amp and subs are in a different state right now, had to move for work. Using an mtx thunder elite 1501d by the way. Any suggestions for placement?
