confused by all the numbers!
hey everyone,
I've been doing research into the car I'm picking up this Saturday... and already overwhelmed by all the tech babble
not a bad thing, as I love learning new stuff though.
however I wonder about the Comand in the car, from what I can understand it hasn't been updated since the car was bought originally back in 2011.
I asked the salesman and he said updates are NOT covered under the factory warranty, unless there is a problem with it.
So I've been looking at doing the updates myself, but the numbers confuse me.
From what I have read NTG 1...2..3.. etc are the model years of the units, But I can't seem to find a straight answer if I have the NTG 4 or 4.5 in my car?
I'll just buy the software and map updates and do them myself, but I need to be sure of the right numbers

Ahh I think I found it, so NTG 4 is in the W204 with the flip out screen, which is what I have
NTG 4.5 was released shortly after, a fixed screen, with a load more options.
Now If I buy the newest map DVD for North America, does that also include the newest firmware update?
