n00b question; first post

Greetings everyone,

I am really a newbie, and am in the process of purchasing a 2006 E55. I have searched the forum first, but did not get a definitive answer based on my search. So I thought I'd ask my question here.

Despite from my short test drive and saw on the Comand system; I thought the 2006 E55 has Satellite radio build in. I thought all I would need is just a subscription from either Sirius or XM, and I am set. But the dealership salesman told me that there is no satellite radio on the E55 because it was "too old". I was wondering if this is true, based on what he told me, and if someone can possibly elaborate further why it was "too old" to be used.

On a sidenote, does the 2066 supposed to come with sports pedal on the footrest? or do these pedals only come on the accelerator, brake and foot brake on the side?

Thanks in advance for answering these questions. Glad to be here, and hope I can stick around also!

I have a 2006 and it's built in. There is a Sat button on the command for it. You may need a sirius module which are ~150-200 on ebay.
