Ejecting a CD from a dead stereo
The radio (standard stereo with CD changer - not HK) in my wife's '06 C230 seems to have died. It wouldn't turn on at all. I checked all the fuses and they were good. I took it out and switched it with the one that came out of my car so now she has a working stereo.
My problem is that there is a CD in it and I can't get it out of there. I have taken it half apart looking for the usual hole to poke a paper clip in or some other way of freeing the CD but couldn't find anything.
Does anyone know how to get a CD out of a stereo that is probably dead and in any case is out of the car?

Yeah. I started down that road. I surprised myself when I was able to put it back together again! I probably need to just keep going.
First I'll collect my tools: small phillips screwdriver, small flat blade screwdriver, hammer, hacksaw, and as you mentioned - beer!
