New Owner - Help me get my phone/music integrated
I just picked up a W204, and I'm super happy with it. My only gripe is how the radio/music setup works with my phone.
Here's what I'd like:
I'd love for my phone to connect via Bluetooth (which it does now), but also to stream music from the phone to the car, without the need for an Aux cable. I have an Aux port in the glove compartment, but it makes everything super impractical. I can't use the steering wheel controls for anything but the volume.
So I've found a few options. Forgive my ignorance if I'm getting stuff wrong:
1) From what I can tell, there's some sort of "interface" I can buy that just plugs into the car? I've hunted the glovebox and can't seem to find where it fits.
2) I can replace the actual head unit in the car? I believe there's something called the ngt4? Any details on this?
3) There seems to be space in the centre console for a port or two, but they're not there. Can I just build them in myself?
4) I could always just route cables into the car and use a regular phone mount?
Thanks so much. Please let me know your thoughts!
