TROUBLESHOOTING COMMAND SYSTEM ON 09 SL63

COMMAND SYSTEM( AUDIO, NAV, ETC) ON 09 SL63 TURNS ON, THEN CUTS OUT FOR 20 SECONDS, TURNS ON AGAIN, AND REPEATS THE CYCLE. ANY KNOWN CAUSES?

yes, CAN drops out. because of an aftermarket interface on it. does the screen go blank and reboots or just lose audio?

how often does it do it, will it do it when you get in and turn it on without the key?

pull, disconnect, look for aftermarket piece behind radio, check can wires... hope it is
something simple

I have a 2004 SL... The same thing was happening to me. I found out that I attached a wire to the AUX plug in the glove compartment for my Ipod but did not have my Ipod connected. Once I pulled the plug, it took care of the problem.

I have a 09 GL 550 with the command system, just tried this quick fix. Didn't appear to work. Back to on for 40sec. Then off for 10 reboots then back on for another 40sec. Repeats.
