My vehicle is a 2004 Mercedes CL500 W215 model. I have run a backup camera and tied it into the reverse tail light connector. The yellow video cable I ran from the trunk to my Head unit. On my Head unit Kenwood DNX571HD there is a connector plug with 2 wires labeled Reverse and Park SW. I believe I need to connect these cables to trigger the back up camera, etc. Can anyone tell me where I could connect these wires, location and corresponding wire colours. I think I may be able to bypass the Park SW by running it to a ground point. Is there an access point near the head unit location ie. gear selector as the 2 wires from the connector are about 5 feet long. Hope you can help. Thanks. Terry

park sw is light green, it gets grounded to the black . it is a video lockout when the vehicle is moving, the reverse is purple/white and is hooked up to your reverse wire
Thanks for your response. I was looking for the location and coulour of the reverse wire from the vehicle to connect to the Head Units purple/white reverse wire. Do I have to run another line from the tail light connector looms reverse wire in the trunk (this is where I connected the back-up camera) to the front dash area or is their a reverse wire nearer the front I could tie into. ie. Electric Selector Lever Module Control Unit N15/5. If so, where is the best location and what wire colour am I looking for. I would like to avoid removing the back seat again just to run this wire. Thanks again. Terry
