What other brand NAV CD's work??
In anticipation of getting Command for my 2001 CLK - I'm looking for Navigation CD Map #1 for California. I saw a few from BMW on ebay and am wondering if they will work in the MB..
Anyone know what other mfg's CD's fit the MB?

Navtech supplies the cd's / dvd's for a number of auto manufacturers - ie - Volvo, BMW and Ford.
What I'm trying to see is if the CD content and format are the same across manufacturers. If this is the case, I can buy a BMW CD for the MB Command unit..

The BMW disks will not work. You need Navtech disks in the DX format. The Blaupunkt DX-N aftermarket nav system uses them, and I bought the appropriate Blaupunkt disk fromContinental Imports. Audi nav systems also use DX format disks.
