Retrofit COMAND NTG2 w203

I have bought a Comand ntg2 headunit to replace my Audio 50 APS, the unit starts but it just shows the Mercedes-Benz logo for maybe 15sec and then shuts down. My car dont have cd-changer or phone but the car the unit came from had phone, is that the problem? And what do i do about it? Do i have to leave it to the dealer or can i fix this myself?

Its a euro -06 c280

I have read alot about the open fiberring MOST and that must be the problem with my unit. https://www.commandonline.co.uk/most-loop-tool.html can this be plugged in to the back of the unit to solve the problem? If not is there some other soloution i can do before i go to the dealer with my car?

The MOST ring is open. The head unit just needs coding to tell it there is nothing on the fibre optic network.

That tool from www.comandonline.co.uk is not good for what you want, its for taking out devices on the loop to test. if you do email them, they can supply the piece to go in the back of the head unit, but better to just get it coded by an independent with Star Diagnosis
