I am thinking about buying the factory trickle charger

Has anyone bought a factory trickle charger and plugged it into the rear 12V and kept it on when not driving your S or CL or any model for that matter? Do I have to have a separate plug or will it work in the power plug in the trunk?

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
I have a ctek charger I paid $40 for... Benz uses ctek to build their chargers ... I don't drive my e63S in the winter so it charges on trickle mode and it did great

Never applied it to the rear battery but it'll work fine for that as well

Are you asking if you can plug the charger power AC plug into the 120/220 AC socket in the trunk and make it work?

I would believe that would fall under the perpetual motion category of magic power.

but you do know, someone out there most likely tried that, probably a salesman with a car in the lot with a dead battery
