My 2008 GL320 has (or is supposed to have) VCS, and the unit is there.
Since it does not work but everything else on the dash works, I assume it is a bad VCS module.
I bought one that was a slightly different part number and it did not work.
So I just found one with the correct part number, just a few months newer than the original, and it still does not work.
I have been told this module does not need any coding, but is there a chance that the vehicle was coded to ignore the module (Maybe to "fix" it from showing an error).
Or maybe I just got a bad module??
Anyone with any experience with VCS? *(Same module as lots of MBs)
