Center Console Switch: W-216 [MY08]
I have just acquired my first MB, a 2008 CL600.
Interested in Bluetooth phone & audio, I installed an MB bluetooth interface module in the center console connector and now the hands-free phone works perfectly. Audio streaming does not.
In the lower section of the center console is a switch and ask your help to identify its function. It is a black switch located into the forward wall of the compartment and toggles between 2-positions. When toggled, nothing earth-shaking happens...nothing at all happens. Any idea what this switch is?

It is an auxiliary ventilation switch. When your air conditioner is on it will flow air into the console to say, keep a beverage cold or a cold blooded critter alive (if youre using the heater).
