Command Unit for 2009 E350

Hi jbondox,
When I first turn on the radio it tunes to the same fm frequency which is no station just static then it powers off for a while and then back on to the same frequency. I can hear the CD player trying load or change cds. The radio comes on and off even with the key out of the ignition. I pulled the fuse that powers the command unit so it cycle on and off.
Any ideas?
