2119060400 interchangeability
hello all. i have to replace my comand unit # 2119060400. is their some interchangeability within other models ? are there features gained or lost and do they require some programming or can you just install it and power up ?

it appears several units are interchangeable. you just need to have the new unit programmed to your car. its essentially the same radio/comand unit with different part numbers for each year. its a way to keep the consumer somewhat in the dark. ive seen this in motorcycle parts in the past.
