The radio LCD display on my c280sport started to fade. I brought it to the dealer who replaced it (under warranty), but the radio he replaced it with was defective. I have to manually turn it off and the display does not light up. He ordered a new one from Mercedes. That was 3 months ago. He keeps telling me it is on backorder and Mercedes does not have any stock! Should I believe him? It's a freaking radio. Is this common?

I had to wait 4 months for a replacement Bose Speaker. I called around, and other MB parts places told me there were none in the warehouse in the US.
