Difficulties with Kenwood DPX306BT

Hi there,

I previously changed my stock head unit with a Pioneer one, but have now upgraded to a Kenwood double din. I am unsure how to connect it. Will I need any additional looms? I have attached pics to show what wires I have for the new unit. Is it as simple as plug and play? (my car is a C180 Coupe 2003)

Any

Thanks!

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
So long as you have the correct wiring harness kit and antenna kit it is plug and play

The pioneer double din should come out and the kenwood should go in

Only thing that may be different if you plan to use steering wheel controls ... Usually a special unit for this

Ok so I am after a little advice and expertise here. After disconnecting the old head unit, I am left with the loom and one wire connecting to the original loom. I am assuming that wire is a power cable. So is it a question of disconnecting that wire from the old loom, and to connect into onto the new head units loom along the red wire, where there are bullet connectors? I have included pics as its hard to explain.
