Plug Play Amp/DSP GLK Install

Recently purchased a 2015 GLK250 with the standard radio. I have scoured various sites looking for stereo upgrades on this vehicle. Finding only little bits of usefull info. While in other vehicles, I have installed a few Helix DSP processors and amp combos. For my new car, I wanted a simple unmolested install. I settled on a Helix/Match PP52dsp. A small amp with integrated DSP. Finally installed it last weekend and it was quite simple. Hardest part was fitting the adaptor wiring harness back behind the command unit, so that it would slide back in place. No wires need to be cut, installed, spliced whatsoever. Time would only allow a quick setup, equalization and T/A. However, it now sounds vastly superior to the stock setup.
I would still like to swap out the front speakers. Any thoughts between a set of Hertz HSK165, Morel Virtus 602 . Looking for a fairly sensitive speaker.
Thanks

Interested to hear your thoughts on the difference between stock > dsp + stock speakers and dsp > dsp + new speakers in terms of what makes the bigger difference. Will the front swap complete your plans for an upgrade?

Match DSP

I would guess that the biggest gain would be the amp/dsp . Also, the ability to equalize/set crossovers/time align makes a huge difference and can temper the inadequacy of the stock speakers. I have since had an opportunity to retune everything a couple of times and I am happy with the results.
However, I will still consider changing the front speakers whenever I can find a good deal. The rears will remain stock and only be used for rear ambiance. I want a strong high front center stage.

There is more control to your taste with the aftermarket system.

instead of the morel or hsk's why not look into the hertz Mille's, I always liked morel since the early 2000's day, but I have yet to hear anything better than the Mille's. but you would need a bigger amp.

IMO

Which Hertz

The Mille's are beyond my self imposed price limit. I have never used nor heard a Hertz driver. However, you seem to be strong proponent of the Hertz line. With lower power output of my installed amp, are the HSK165 a good mix? Am I gaining any with the Hi-Energy vs the Energy line?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Any tips on installing the HSk165? What would you recommend setting the crossover tweeter setting (0 , -2dB)

Purchased a set of Hertz HSK165 this weekend and I am now ready for the install. However, a few questions for anyone who is willing to help. Are there any pre made spacers available or will I have to fab a set? I dont want to do any cutting of existing wiring, is there any compatible plugs to tie into existng speaker connectors? The bare door looks pretty good with the alum. cover plate vs cheaper plastic liners. Is there any benefit to adding some dampning material?
Thanks...

Love to find a compatible plug to fit this

just cut the center out of the factory speaker and use that as your mount, cut the plug off and wire to the crossover. when you get rid of the vehicle just toss in some $10 speakers in it. done this so many times I lost count

Installed my Hertz speakers this weekend. Drastic improvement over the stock speakers. However, If you look at the stockers you can tell MB realy cheaped out.

Thank you for your assistance.
Any thoughts on HP settings for these 6.5 Hertz? 80hz@24 ? 125hz@12 ? Havent had much time to fool with my settings yet. Ever heard the Helix/Match sub that would fit within the spare tire well?

80 is a good start, I have gone slightly lower though in a few setups
