Can you say Tinnitus? Speaking as an ex radio DJ that used to wear a set of Koss Pro4AA headphones to work every day, you should be concerned with the volume level in your ride (or anywhere) you will end up with that funky whining sound when you hit 40 and I don't mean your supercharger!

@MB Marko - It is not just a question of swapping the speakers - the headunit must be replaced, wiring must be changed due to the configuration of the headunit, the subwoofer amplifier installed with a special wiring harness and connected to the HK headunit via Toslink fibre-optic, fuses changed... It's a massive undertaking and have heard of no one making the complete Audio20 to HK Logic7 swap.
The speakers are low efficiency and must be equalized and time-aligned with custom profiles in order to sound "normal", just installing the drivers (of course the subwoofer will have no amp) will result in deficient incoherent audio.
Suggest selling the HK speakers if you are not prepared to spend hundreds or even more than $1,000 and invest a substantial amount of time and effort trying to make this upgrade work - the audio equivalent of turning a C200 into a C63. As a primer, here's a popular thread about upgrading the sound of the Audio20 system: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...r-upgrade.html
Best of success.
