The Dealer Wont Activate Bi-xenon Settings...help!!!
My car's at the dealer getting serviced, so i figured that since i'm getting it back tomorrow i'd call and ask the tech to activate my bi-xenon settings since i've decided that's going to be my next upgrade...
he said that he isn't allowed to do that for me because he'd be liable for any malfunctions that occur from the new lights since his shop isn't installing them. so, i told him that i'd pay them to do the install, n he isn't allowed to install them for me either. so then i asked him...where can i get the lights activated then? his answer: "i don't know..." I was suprised he said no because i'm pretty cool with him.
Anyone have a solution?? Can i take my car to another benz dealer n have them do it if i didnt buy my car from them?
Does anyone in the NJ/NY/Penn area know of a dealer or a shop that can activate the lights?

Hes probably confused. there is no setting for "bi-xenon" lights. There is a setting for "Xenon Present" which needs to be set if you have Xenon (USA) or Bi-Xenon (europe). Just tell him to set the car to xenon present and be done with it. I cant imagine him not doing it, as anyone that has halagon and wanted xenon would go through the exact same procedure at the dealer.
