Video aux in for 2011 C Class

Hi Everyone,

I'm working on a in car computer using a Raspberry Pi. Here's details of my project.

I'm having problems getting video to work using the aux-in adapter. I have a 2011 C Class coupe with the comand system/navigation etc.

Aux-in works fine for audio but not video. I tried a few RCA to 3.5mm adapters but none seem to work.

Is aux-in actually for video as well as audio? has anyone else had problems using the video aux-in.

Here's the adapter that came with the car...

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Mark

Thanks for the replies. I've actually managed to get it to work with the exitsing aux-in. For some reason it works with the jack half way in!I think it has something to do with the order of the black rings on the 3.5mm jack.
