Replacement subwoofers for SLK
Hi all
I bought my SLK without the Bose sound system, (It was an extra in my country, so I only got speakers and tweeters on doors)
I'm looking now for a pair of subwoofers. In order to get more powerfull bass. But it seems nobody sells small flat subwoofers (6.5") suitables to fit in the back of an SLK but Bose.
So I think my only chance is installing, the Bose sound system. But I would like to get something better, so can anyone make me a sugestion about a pair of subwoofers capables of replacing those ofered with the Bose Sound System ???

TKL, blaupaunkt has flat woofers in the market now...not sure where you're located, but i've seen them around in Canada...also try doing a search on AURA bass shakers also sold by ALPINE...these mount under the seat...mostly installed in convertibles....email me at cbamng@yahoo.com if you require anymore car audio help..

Worse comes to worst you can always buy an Infinity Basslink or a Bazooka bass tube. They fit well in cars that can't have big boxes and stuff and are self amplified. They don't sound bad either.
