Still looking for the leak in my car, I pulled the 3rd row seat and side cover panel and saw nothing. Will try water hose later.
Today I tested the motor (for tailgate ) and it's working! But red buttons on the gate don't light up, doesn't lift nor pull it shut. The other one that locks the car works, but only by locking the doors, not by automatically shutting it closed. How can I test the module for the lift gate, instead of just buying a new one?
