2001 s500 sporadic volume issues
Hey everyone, great forum.
Got a 2001 s500 that we added a few amps and speakers too and we are having issues with the volume jumping up and down drastically. Dont think its any speed sensitive control or cabin noise control issue because the jump in volume is so large.
Bose factory head unit and amp are being use and we tied in using hi level imputs after the amp.
System sound fabulous untill the volume jumps and causes the amps to clip....
Any help would be great.

i've heard problems with tying in additional amps to the Bose. What most people do is just bypass the Bose amp and use the new ones they put in. But try a search as well, that may turn up something.
