I'm trying to determine if I screwed something up installing a canbus decoder for an aftermarket headunit.
2005 w211 E55 AMG
I've tapped the red/brown and brown wire in driver side raceway. i checked the voltage and saw nothing on the volt meter, I assume I'd see something.
I checked the audio gateway, and general gateway fuses and they are both fine. the regular display, paging, heated seats, locks etc all work, which I assume are also on canbus.

Can anyone tell me where that is on the car? I don't know if thats trunk or drivers side footwell, or even inside the center console..
