ViseeO WMA1000 Will Not Connect - MY08 CL600 (W216)
Wishing to stream audio, I purchased and connected a ViseeO wma1000 device to the iPod Integration cable in my 2nd hand CL600. Although an iPod works well when connected to this glove compartment located cable, the wma1000 did not connect my iPhone 6. In fact, the device's blue LED did not light when connected. Since the LED didn't light (not discoverable) it's understandable why the iPhone wouldn't connect.
To understand if the device was defective, I connected the WMA1000 to a Windows7 pc. The LED became active and allowed an iPhone bluetooth pairing. Now I'm trying to determine if the iPod Integration kit is the problem or if this Tune2air device simply will never work with this generation head unit.
Forum photos I've seen of several iPod integration kits had plastic connectors while this one has a metal 30-pin connector (see photo). Can this connector be the reason for the device doesn't work?
Please let me know if you believe the 2008 W216 has successfully connected this device or can offer any suggestions?
