W219 Keyless Go Retrofit possible?
How hard would it be to retrofit Keyless Go in a W219, if I had the wiring, the antennas, the door handles, the ignition module and a STAR?
Also. if new keys had to be ordered, how would I explain that to the dealer when my VIN did not initially have KG.
...and no, selling the car for one that has it, is unfortunately not an option.

You will never find official help for this issue on American soil, but contact member handle Deplore.
He is indy who works on those things and actually knows something about DAS and coding.

Would you believe me if I said I got all the parts for free...? LOL...I did.
Thanks kajtek1, As I said the module, the wiring, door handles, etc will be no issue to fit, nor the Coding...I am wondering how I can get about the actual key, as I have read the internals are different from a regular one?

There is a good reason why $1000 modules sell on ebay for less than $100.
Dealers will not reuse them, while I know only 3 guys around the World who can deal with MB security systems.
That beside one W210 owner who had his ignition switch going bad 3 years ago and even after spending over $1000 at the dealer the car still doesn't run.
Good luck with your project.
