Subwoofer for E55
Has anybody put any free-air subwoofers on the 5 3/4" holes on the rear deck???
I'm concerened about space and only want moderate bass, any suggestions?

Poc, have you installed you subs in your E55? Just curious what you have chosen.
I'm in the same boat you are. I just want better bass, but does not have to be booming (although I don't mind if it turns out that way).
I was thinking of putting 2 8inch JL Free air subs I have from my steath kit that was on my BMW 3 series. They sound pretty good in there. But I am leaning towards 1 10's Solobaric in a sealed box mounted up under my deck.

I haven't done anything yet, all I did was to mount under the deck an amplifier (PPI) and a band pass boom box (huge with a couple of 10") that takes most of the trunk, I took that box from my suburban while I decide to do anything
