Wireless USB connection for Alpine ilx 007.

Wireless USB connection for Alpine ilx 007.
Gents

My 2004 W211 E55 is fitted with an Alpine ILX007 and uses Apple Carplay via my iPhone 6 plus. The phone connects to the Alpine via a Lightning to USB cable. It is a pain to connect the cable to the phone every time I get in the car. Alpine were expected to upgrade the ILX007 to wifi or bluetooth, but this never happened.
Is there a way to make the connection wireless so everything except charging works the same as when the cable is connected?
