I am pretty happy with my factory system in my '02 C-coupe, but it lacks bass. I looked at the JL Audio 10W3v2 sub today and it performed pretty well in the showroom, but that is a hard place to tell. I have always heard great things about JL and I am wondering if any of you out there know anymore on this particular sub. I have no need to vibrate down the road so I am wondering if this is the right choice. They told me that the Memphis 225 watt amp would be the best choice to tuck inside the right rear wheel well. I have never heard of Memphis amps so hopefully someone can shed some light.

 

i have a sealed 10w3v2 powered off of jl 250/1 and it sounds good & clean. i would recommend the 250/1 by jl or phoenix gold (w/ bass knob).

 

never heard of memphis either.

go with the JL amp/sub combo. i would get W6v2 or W7 though. u will get much more bass.
