2009 C300 4Matic Luxury Edition
iPod interface issue
Hello,
I'm hoping somebody out there can help with an issue that I cannot correct. I have a2009 C300 4Matic Luxury. My daughter accidentally crushed the 30-pin iPod connection. Once it was crushed, the screen that once read "Eric's iPod" now has 4 dashes. The stereo somehow disconnected from the poewer source and now has to be turned on and off manually, and it stays on even after the engine is shut down. I purchased the authentic Mercedes interface cable, but it is still not connecting with the car. The right side steering wheel controls(volume and phone buttons) no longer work at all. The left controls are still functioning correctly. I tried resetting the battery to no avail. Does anybody know how to get my car to reset the interface so my car can read and play my iPod? I thank you in advance for any help given. Eric.
