94 E320 Radio question
I've read the posts I could find about this, but I still have a question or two--please bear with me, I'm trying to learn!
I had my battery changed, and when I got into the car and turned on the radio, I got: C--ERR. In fact, that's what I have as I type this.
Now, I have my code and my manual, and I just wondered if I should leave the key in position 1 for a while till it goes back to CODE, or has the radio completely shut down?
Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I have a call in to the dealership where I got the car; we'll see what they say.
My mech, the fabulous Vito of Premier Auto in Staten Island, says it sounds like a code error; the radio may have been replaced at some point. Since the car was serviced at the dealership I called, I'll see if I can get a code for it--I give them the VIN and they look it up, right? Otherwise Vito will take the radio out and get the code for me.
More on this mystery later...
