HELP! COMAND system and CDC questions
Hi, sorry for starting a new thread - I am sure this is an issue that would have been previously canvassed, but my search skills are somewhat lacking.
I have recently bought a 2003/4 CLK500 A209 cabrio - loving it!
However I am having trouble with the COMAND system, and the glove box mounted 10 CD changer.
My first question is, do I absolutely need the navigation disc to change settings on the COMAND system? It didn't come with one, and is currently displaying in Deutsche rather than English (I'm in Australia). The handbooks seem to indicate that I do need the disc, but I'm wondering if there is a work-around.
Next, the 10 disc CDC is mounted in the glovebox, and won't eject the cartridge no matter what I do. The header unit also doesn't seem to recognise the CDC. Is this likely to be a fuse/power issue, or could it be related to the lack of a nav disc?
Any suggestions (re these issues, of course
) are more than welcome.
