2011 e350 Bluetooth with iPhone X
All,
i just today picked up my new to me 2011 e350 sport with a scant 52k miles on it. This car is pristine and beautiful. Being a very technical guy, I had no issues pairing my iPhone X to the COMAND unit. All of the functionality (track names, button controls, calling, etc) work fine.
However, the audio stutters, hiccups, or skips, or whatever adjective you would like to use. It is intolerable and happens every 3-5 seconds.
I have have tried deleting all profiles both on my phone and the COMAND, I tried some handoff settings tweaks I found on another site, and resetting my network settings on the iPhone.
Unless someone has any suggestions, I’m wondering if I have to try the dealership service Hail Mary or punt to an auxiliary jack port Bluetooth adapter and lose a lot of the awesomeness of controlling everything from the built in function.
Any thoughts?

Hello!
Try this if it works for you
You need to pair your phone as I do in this video, that way you will not get that stutters. I have same problem as you and i found this way to work.

Sorry to reopen this, but to the OP, did you ever find a PROPER fix for this? No offense dfkmas, but I am solely looking for a solution to not have to do it the way you mentioned. Its extremely annoying having to repair my phone every time I get in the car and not practical. I have 2012 E350 coupe. You really shouldn't have to do this everytime you get in the vehicle.

Only a hack
unfortunately, I never found any thing more than a workaround hack. I added a third party Bluetooth adapter that connects to the media interface Jack in the glove compartment. It isn’t great, but gets me good enough.
Hopefully the new fall iPhone will work better.

Thanks for the confirmation. Unfortunately it won't work. The new phones have new software that simply has the glitch with our older software. I'm going to try getting the new software update for my car, and that should fix it. Has no problems on my other newer Mercedes.
