Not sure if this has been posted somewhere, but Mercedes is integrating this feature with the navigation system: https://what3words.com/. Jaguar/Land Rover is also implementing it. Could become universal.

Its a great concept for drones and other industries where postcodes don't exist or are not accurate enough. A bit novelty for a car sat nav, but there will be the odd time it will come in really useful no doubt.

I can see many uses for anyplace that does not have an address, e.g. campsites, trailheads, broken down by the side of the road, etc. If it catches on it could be added to all kinds of guides. BTW, my house is weeks.below.dome (or could be a number or 29.5' square locations).
