Drone Mobile/Firstech Module
I have a MidCityEngineering Smart Key Starter module in my 2013 GLK 350 (remote start). I also have the Drone Mobile/Firstech module DR-3300 that allows you to start your car using a cell phone app. Installed back in 2015. The Cell Phone remote start stopped working a few weeks ago.
It turns out that the DR-3300 module is 3g only and AT&T turned off 3g for these modules.
Emailed Drone Mobile/Firstech support, they send me a new 4g module, DR-5400. Also called MidCityEngineering and they are swapping out the board on my SmartKey Starter, to support the newer 4g module.
Both companies were pretty awesome about this. Great customer service.

Hey, new guy here. I am glad this post popped up in the search. I was researching the Drone Mobile system and App. Best Buy has them on sale now for $150. I was planning on getting the GPS as an add-on. Looks like you guys recommend this for the MB's? Let me know if you can. Thanks in advance.

I would recommend getting it directly from midcityengineering, if you wanting remote start.
The $150 thing at Best buy is just the add-on that lets you use your phone . You still need a main remote start module.
Midcityengineering has a package deal with the smart key start module. The drone Mobile add-on at midcityengineering is $100 when you get the remote start from them .
