Remote control for rear entertainment

Remote control for rear entertainment

i just picked up a 2011 GL450 with rear entertainment. There was no remote control for the rear screens included when I purchased. It looks as if I can pick up a used remote easily. My question is: assuming I get the correct model remote (part number A2128200097) will it automatically work with my vehicle? Or will I need to take it to the dealer to get it paired? And if I have to get it paired, what should I expect regarding time/price?
