Teletrek...

Hi - does anyone use Teletrek from Teleaid. Its thhe realtime traffic and route planning part of the website? You basically predefine your most frequent routes and the when you hit the "I" button, you can say "traffic" and it will tell you the conditions based on where you are (voice read). Looking for opinions on the feature. I signed up and can't really decide if I like it or not. seems to be accurate, but setting up routes on such a small map (which is what you get) is very tedious. Any opinions - good / bad?

You might get a better response by posting this in the new E forum. I'd be curious to know as well if anyone uses this.

I'm aware of it but if you have the NAV, why would you use it?

Teletrek is realtime - location / route based traffic conditions. It doesn't direct you on how to get somewhere, on the the traffic conditions for a pre-defined or genera route. Its a paid service and it seperate from the NAV system.

I have heard of it but don't need it really. It is real time info but too expensive if you ask me. Or can get expensive. Europe has TMC which is live traffic data fed into the COmand system and it shows the best route to avoid traffic. Very ncie system and I hope it comes to USA.
