Where to ground shielded cable drain wire?

I'm designing a harness to put a standalone ECU in my 2002 CLK55 and I have a question about how to ground the drain wire on shielded cable. I'm installing a Holley Dominator EFI ECU, which has a pin for Sensor Ground, but I'm not sure if I should use that pin for the drain wire on the Cam and Crank position sensor shielding. FWIW, the Cam sensor is a Hall Effect, and the Crank is an inductive pickup.

My gut tells me to tie the shielding to the chassis ground and the negative sensor wire to the sensor ground, but I would love some confirmation.
