CLS220 Shooting Brake

Comand NTG5.5 - Android/Mirroring Question

Hi all, apologies in advance (because it looks like a widely discussed topic with lots of info out there) but I'm struggling to find the answer after sifting through all the stickys.

I have a 2015(15) CLS 220 Shooting Brake and my VIN tells me I have a "COMAND APS NTG5/NTG5.5". 4 questions, my aim is to mirror my android screen I'm guessing via Android-Auto, wired or wireless. As I say, I've sifted through the threads and found lots of combinations to try, hold this down for 10 seconds, hangup+#+1, vehicle+down+lefthold, vehicle+down+righthold and a few others, none of which seem to do anything. Also checked youtube for lots of videos but can't find a system which looks exactly as mine does...so...

1) Simple way to confirm the unit I have? (without having to take it out - I can't find any kind of 'about' within the system itself)
2) How to enable android auto (engineering menu?)...
3) I'm seeing lots of vids with OBD activation tools - maybe this is the only way?
4) No reversing camera on my model, people are talking about a video aux in... is this located on the back of unit requiring removal? Can't see anything obvious in the car.

The Engineering menu is now disabled on recent models.

PM me if you'd like to add reverse camera/ Mirrorlink/ Carplay/ Android Auto.

Hi all - came across this thread and am searching for some answers as to whether I can get android auto or car play on my 2016 w205. It has NTG5.5. Any help would be appreciated.
